I started My Finance Coach because I noticed a gap in communication between different areas of finance, whether it’s managing personal or business finances, navigating the complexities of accounting, or ensuring compliance with tax requirements. Often, the language used by accountants can be tough to follow, and bookkeepers may have a hard time explaining why certain transactions need to be entered in a specific way in your accounting software. It can all feel a bit overwhelming at times.

 

In our busy lives, it’s easy to brush off these details or avoid asking questions, especially when we’re unsure if the question is "silly" or if we’re just too pressed for time. But accounting—and, more importantly, numbers—can be complex. For some, it might feel like a foreign language, but for me, it’s all about finding clarity through structure.
